Role and Experience

Extensive DevOps Expertise: Proven background in DevOps practices with a strong focus on release engineering, supporting continuous integration and delivery processes.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) Proficiency: 4-7 years of hands-on experience in utilizing AWS cloud infrastructure for application deployment and management, including services like EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, CloudFormation, and more.
Cloud Computing Experience: Over 5 years of experience working with cloud technologies, leveraging cloud computing platforms to design, implement, and scale applications efficiently and securely.
Containerization and Orchestration: Proficient in working with containerization tools like Docker, and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, enabling seamless deployment and scaling of applications in cloud environments.
Database Administration: Strong knowledge in administering and managing multiple databases, including MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and/or ElasticSearch, ensuring high availability and performance.
Experience in Regulated Environments: Solid understanding and experience working within regulated frameworks such as HIPAA, PCI, and ITAR, ensuring compliance and security in all stages of the software development and deployment lifecycle.
Networking and Security Expertise: In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and security principles, with a strong ability to design secure infrastructure and troubleshoot network-related issues.
Configuration Management Frameworks: Familiar with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, and Ansible, facilitating automation of infrastructure management and ensuring consistency across environments.
Programming Skills: Hands-on expertise with programming languages such as Python or Java, supporting automation, scripting, and custom application development within the DevOps pipeline.
CI/CD Pipeline Experience: Demonstrated experience in creating and managing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, using tools like Jenkins, XLR, Git, Maven, and automated testing frameworks to ensure efficient code delivery and quality.
Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, complemented by excellent communication skills, including the capacity to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
