Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain automation, monitoring, and deployment tools to support development workflows
Manage Kubernetes environments using GitOps best practices
Develop, maintain, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines
Partner closely with development and QA teams to enhance software release processes
Contribute to project planning, execution, and delivery initiatives

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
Prior experience in a DevOps or software engineering role within a trading firm, hedge fund, or financial institution
Proficient in Python, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, Git, and SQL
Familiarity with TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks
Excellent communication, collaboration, and project planning skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with large-scale CI/CD systems, cloud-based deployments, or high-performance trading platforms

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive base salary ranging from $160,000 to $200,000, plus an annual bonus

Location Requirement

This is a hybrid position based in the firm’s Chicago office, requiring on-site presence three days per week.
