Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to take a leadership role within our rapidly expanding engineering organization. This role requires hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure and related technologies, alongside a strong foundation in designing, building, and maintaining modern CI/CD pipelines and scalable cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will also spearhead the implementation of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to ensure system uptime, reliability, and performance across all environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Define, implement, and maintain comprehensive operational processes and SRE practices, ensuring system reliability and process efficiency.

Design and architect resilient, scalable cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure and microservices frameworks.

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation, leveraging tools such as Azure DevOps, Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes.

Ensure deep observability into systems and applications by implementing advanced diagnostics and monitoring solutions, including Dynatrace, for proactive performance management.

Automate application lifecycle processes, supporting high availability and fault tolerance in 24/7 production environments.

Continuously monitor, tune, and optimize system performance to ensure reliability and operational excellence.

Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver innovative business solutions that align with strategic goals.

Champion DevOps and Agile best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications and Technical Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.

A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in DevOps, Automation Engineering, Build Engineering, or Software Development.

Proven success in designing and implementing transaction-intensive, scalable cloud platforms using Microsoft Azure.

Strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline architecture, especially using Azure DevOps.

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools.

Proficiency in monitoring and performance tuning using Dynatrace in cloud-native environments.

Solid scripting experience in Python, Bash, and PowerShell for automating DevOps tasks.

Familiarity with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker Swarm.

Broad experience with version control systems (SCM), including Git, SVN, and development tools such as Visual Studio, HTML, SQL, and object-oriented programming languages.

Advanced analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a strong focus on diagnostics and root cause analysis.

Experience implementing and maintaining automated testing frameworks and ensuring best practices in test automation.

In-depth understanding of security, compliance, and data protection standards.

Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this contract role is a good faith estimate and may vary based on factors such as experience, technical expertise, communication skills, location, and employment type (W2 or C2C).
