Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support the OpenStack operations queue within NVIDIA’s Infrastructure and Cloud Operations environments.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues across cloud-based systems and infrastructure, including bug triage and KPI analysis.

  • Collaborate with SRE, PaaS, and infrastructure teams as well as product managers and developers to plan and support product launches.

  • Resolve complex issues in multi-site OpenStack deployments, directly supporting NVIDIA’s innovative technologies.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams—including software, systems, mechanical, and data center engineering teams—to deliver robust infrastructure solutions from concept to deployment.

  • Play a critical role in enhancing deployment quality and accelerating time-to-market for next-gen NVIDIA products.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.

  • In-depth experience with the OpenStack platform (components such as Nova, Nova Placement, Neutron, Glance, Cinder, and Ironic).

  • Strong expertise in bare-metal deployments and on-premise hardware management (not containerized virtual environments).

  • Proficient in Linux systems, Ansible, Python, and Bash scripting.

  • Hands-on experience with physical hardware, IPMI, and monitoring tools.

  • Solid understanding of networking, including PXE boot processes, BIOS/network configurations, VLANs, switch settings, and cabling.
