The Opportunity
Imagine applying artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize and transform IT operations for high-impact clients. At Booz Allen, we’re leaders in AI-powered solutions, and we’re looking for a DevOps Engineer who understands AIOps, MLOps, ModelOps, and DataOps to help deliver the tools and automation critical to mission success.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in enhancing platform efficiency by automating workflows and streamlining operations. You’ll bring together cutting-edge technologies and proven DevOps practices to build intelligent, scalable systems. What You’ll Bring:

5+ years of experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Containerd, Podman, Kaniko)

5+ years of experience in orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, ECS, or Azure Container Apps

5+ years working with DevOps and automation tools including GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or Flux

4+ years designing and managing CI/CD pipelines for medium to large development teams

4+ years mentoring and directing junior engineers

3+ years of experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure and their associated services

Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC)

Experience with UNIX/Linux environments and shell scripting

Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C, or C++

Proficiency in Git and related source control technologies

Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic and evolving environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent analytical thinking, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Security Clearance Requirement:
This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Candidates will undergo a security investigation to meet eligibility standards for access to classified information.

Compensation Range:
$77,600 – $176,000 USD (annualized). Final salary will be determined by factors such as location, education, experience, and contract requirements. This position will remain open for up to 90 days from the posting date.
