Position Overview:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the migration and deployment of applications within an on-premise cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with application development teams, providing critical support and guidance throughout the deployment lifecycle. Your contributions will directly impact the performance, reliability, and scalability of secure systems supporting national security operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the migration, configuration, and deployment of applications to an on-premises cloud infrastructure

  • Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment workflows and improve automation processes

  • Maintain and optimize containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes

  • Utilize CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient, secure, and reliable software delivery

  • Monitor system health and performance using modern observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana

  • Automate system configuration and maintenance using scripting languages and configuration management tools

  • Assist in provisioning and managing storage systems, such as GlusterFS and OpenEBS


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency with Linux systems, particularly RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) or CentOS

  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker

  • Strong scripting and automation skills with tools like Bash, Python, and Ansible

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools, such as GitLab and Jenkins

  • Experience in monitoring and metrics platforms, particularly Prometheus and Grafana

  • Knowledge of storage provisioning technologies, including OpenEBS and GlusterFS
