Key Responsibilities of the DevOps Engineer

Manage Linux-based servers, including provisioning, patching, and monitoring.

Deploy and maintain VMs and containers (Docker, Kubernetes, Podman).

Configure and secure network infrastructure (IP management, VLANs, firewalls).

Optimize storage systems (NFS, block, RAID, object).

Support ISV testing, AI benchmarks, and development efforts.

Oversee lab health, troubleshoot hardware, and monitor environments.

Document procedures, configurations, and topologies.

Contribute to automation and CI/CD pipelines.

Travel occasionally to Colorado Springs for system access and maintenance.
Required Skills for the DevOps Engineer Role

3+ years of hands-on Linux system administration.

Networking expertise (routing, VLANs, firewalls, subnets).

Virtualization experience (VMware, KVM, or similar).

Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, Podman).

Storage knowledge (RAID, NFS, object stores, LUNs).

Strong scripting and automation skills (Shell, infrastructure tools).
