Why This Role Matters
As part of Arcadia’s engineering team, the Infrastructure Engineer supports our production infrastructure and DevOps initiatives. You’ll work with cutting-edge cloud technologies to automate, optimize, and secure Arcadia’s systems while ensuring high performance and reliability.
The ideal candidate is passionate about Infrastructure-as-Code (IaaS), enjoys solving complex technical problems, and thrives in a collaborative, data-driven environment.
What Success Looks Like
In 3 months:

Understand Arcadia’s infrastructure and dependencies
-
Contribute to operational engineering projects
-
Support incidents independently
In 6 months:
-
Gain deep insight into infrastructure performance and costs
-
Help design and implement more robust, cost-efficient systems
-
Troubleshoot incidents at an expert level
In 12 months:
-
Collaborate with developers to standardize infrastructure using Terraform
-
Replace legacy systems with modern solutions
-
Work directly with clients and vendors on integrations and outsourced designs
Key Responsibilities
-
Automate infrastructure in AWS using DevOps tools and frameworks
-
Create, test, and secure Windows, Linux, and serverless environments
-
Capture and visualize telemetry data in dashboards and reports
-
Troubleshoot technical issues and implement proactive improvements
-
Partner with vendors for system upgrades and migrations
-
Decompose complex systems to reduce bottlenecks and costs
-
Evaluate and recommend new technologies for improved scalability
-
Support both legacy and new architecture to maximize uptime and security
-
Manage CI/CD pipelines to enhance software delivery efficiency
Qualifications
Required:
-
8+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in infrastructure support
-
Strong expertise in AWS, Terraform, CloudFormation, Kubernetes, Argo CD, and Crossplane
-
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
-
Hands-on experience with RDS, S3, IAM, SSM, Lambda, SQL Server, PostgreSQL/MySQL
-
Experience delivering production software using GitHub and Jenkins
Preferred:
-
AWS or Microsoft certifications
-
Experience with distributed systems (Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Spark, etc.)

Deep knowledge of GitHub Actions and workflow automation
