Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack DevOps Engineer to join our remote team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong JavaScript background, experience deploying applications in AWS/EKS environments using Harness tools, and familiarity with Kafka technologies. You will work on complex full-stack projects, including scalable databases, API integrations, and cloud environments, serving as a key liaison with Enterprise DevOps and Infrastructure teams.

Responsibilities
Required:

5+ years of DevOps experience with full-stack projects

Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and related tools (Harness)

Hands-on experience with AWS and EKS (Kubernetes)

Deployment of JavaScript/Node applications into AWS

Containerization and orchestration using Docker

Knowledge of event streaming systems, particularly Kafka

Familiarity with Postgres and relational databases

Experience with WebSockets and GraphQL Subscriptions for real-time communication

Proficiency with Git and version control

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and agile development skills
Nice to Have:

Experience in travel, lodging, or related application domains

Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure) or Big Data technologies (Spark/Scala)

Enterprise or solution architecture experience
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams
