DevOps Engineer [Linux/IaC/CaC]

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a strong technical foundation and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. They must be highly self-motivated and able to contribute effectively to the organization’s ongoing DevOps efforts. The role requires a focus on creating and maintaining efficient cloud infrastructures, with a particular emphasis on automation, compliance, and security.

Must-Have Skills:

• Expertise in Shell Scripting: Proficiency in writing and debugging shell scripts using languages such as Bash, Korn, and C is required.

• Python Proficiency: Strong ability to develop and implement complex solutions using Python, particularly in the context of automating infrastructure tasks and improving operational workflows.

• Linux Troubleshooting & Log Forensics: Advanced skills in diagnosing and resolving issues within Linux environments, with the ability to perform detailed log file forensics to identify and troubleshoot problems effectively.

• Security Clearance: A current Tier 5 (T5) background investigation is required, or the candidate must be able to obtain it within three months of starting the position.

Certifications (Required or Must Obtain):

• Security+ Certification (Current or must obtain within three months of start)

• Linux Certification: Either Linux+ or RHSCA certification is required, or the candidate must obtain one within three months of starting the role.

• AWS Certification: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect – Associate level certification is required.
