About the Job

KLDiscovery, a global leader in electronic discovery, information governance, and data recovery services, is seeking a Development Operations Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting, fully remote opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of our infrastructure as we transition to fully automated deployment pipelines. You will help design, build, and maintain scalable systems that support large-scale eDiscovery applications across various infrastructure models.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automated build and deployment pipelines

  • Automate environment provisioning and configuration, including infrastructure as code

  • Support deployments across development, validation, and production environments

  • Collaborate across departments to maintain CI/CD workflows and enforce coding standards

  • Provide technical support for production systems, including bug fixes and enhancements

  • Participate in daily team activities and support agile planning processes

  • Continuously explore and implement industry best practices and emerging technologies


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)

  • 3+ years of experience in software development, DevOps, or QA

  • Comfortable working in Windows and Linux environments

  • Experience with version control and work tracking tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps)

  • Familiarity with continuous integration platforms and scripting for automation

  • Preferred (but not required) experience with tools and platforms such as:

    • Azure Cloud, Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps

    • SonarQube, BurpSuite, Docker

    • Programming/scripting with C#, SQL, and infrastructure-related languages

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to express technical concepts clearly

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, Green Card holder, or “Protected Person” as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) due to ITAR regulations

  • Ability to pass a background check
