About the Role
Devblock is seeking an experienced, hands-on Cloud/SRE/DevOps Engineer to help design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud environments across AWS and Azure. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a collaborative setting where infrastructure is code, automation is default, and security is paramount.
You will support both internal teams and clients, ensuring seamless technical onboarding, efficient CI/CD operations, and reliable infrastructure performance.
Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage AWS and Azure infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or Bicep.

Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar).

Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic, Azure Monitor).

Strengthen cloud security and compliance through best practices and automation.

Support application deployments, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability.

Collaborate with developers and client teams to improve performance and scalability.

Create and maintain detailed documentation, runbooks, and SOPs.

Manage competing priorities across multiple projects with calm professionalism.
Required Qualifications

5+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.

Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, etc.) and Azure (VMs, AKS, Functions, etc.).

Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).

Experience with CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).

Working knowledge of Linux and/or Windows IIS administration and shell scripting.

Familiarity with containers and orchestration (ECS, EKS, AKS, Fargate).

Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Client-facing experience in a consulting or agency environment.
Preferred Skills

Understanding of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA).

Familiarity with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Azure Functions).

Knowledge of observability tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or Azure Monitor.
