Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain complex AWS cloud environments, utilizing AWS native services such as CloudFormation, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy, as well as tools like Terraform and Docker.

  • Engage in consultative client-facing interactions, collaborating with customers and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Provide responsive support via phone and service desk, handling troubleshooting, incident resolution, and general support tasks.

  • Serve as a first responder to system alerts and service requests, offering timely and effective communication and solutions for AWS customers.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or

    • High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years of relevant experience.

  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience working with AWS infrastructure.

  • Minimum certification: AWS Certified Developer – Associate.

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (or a strong commitment to obtaining the certification).

  • Practical experience building CI/CD pipelines using both AWS native tools and industry-standard solutions.

  • Experience in modernizing and re-architecting traditional applications for the AWS cloud.

  • Strong passion for AWS technologies and cloud computing.

  • Familiarity with multi-tiered system architectures.

  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible.

  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, with preference for Terraform (CloudFormation also accepted).

  • Programming experience in Python (preferred) and SQL.

  • Solid understanding of containerization and application packaging for Kubernetes environments.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, networking, and systems administration.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical topics to audiences ranging from developers to executives.


Additional Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary range: $125,000 – $135,000 annually.

  • This position may also be eligible for commission or annual performance incentives.

  • Actual compensation will be based on job-related factors including skills, experience, knowledge, location, and internal equity.
