Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and build complex AWS environments, utilizing AWS native technologies like CloudFormation, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy, as well as tools like Terraform and Docker.

  • Engage with clients in a consultative manner, working with both clients and internal teams on a regular basis.

  • Respond to support requests through phone and service desks, troubleshoot issues, and provide incident support.

  • Serve as the first responder to alerts, addressing varying customer requests and providing timely solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of relevant experience, or HS/GED and 7 years of relevant experience.

  • At least 1 year of experience with AWS infrastructure.

  • AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification.

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional certification, or the willingness to obtain it.

  • Experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines using AWS native solutions and industry-standard tools.

  • Experience in re-architecting traditional applications for AWS.

  • Practical experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

  • Proficiency in programming languages (Python preferred) and SQL.

  • Strong knowledge of containerized applications and Kubernetes environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT.

  • 5 years of experience in software development with networking and systems administration.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical topics to a wide range of audiences.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older.

Compensation:

  • The compensation for this role ranges from $125,000 to $135,000 annually. This role is also eligible for commissions or annual performance incentives. Actual pay will vary based on factors like knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
