About the Role
Insight Global is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support a federal client in delivering secure, large-scale CI/CD and container orchestration services across hybrid cloud environments. You will serve as the technical product owner for core DevSecOps tools—including CloudBees, Artifactory, SonarQube, and Snyk—ensuring their performance, scalability, and availability. This role focuses on automation, standardization, and self-service capabilities to empower developers while meeting federal security standards, including FISMA Moderate controls.
Location: Remote / Federal Client Site (as required)
Compensation: $50 – $53/hr

Key Responsibilities
Cloud & DevSecOps Management

Deploy and manage containerized workloads on Amazon EKS with CI/CD and DevSecOps pipeline integration.

Oversee platform enhancements, security updates, and feature delivery for core DevSecOps tools.

Provide architecture guidance and operational oversight for scalable EKS clusters.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

Partner with security, compliance, and business teams to meet federal standards.

Engage with application owners and stakeholders to gather feedback and provide enablement resources.

Represent DevSecOps services in governance and client-facing forums.
Automation & Standardization

Drive automation of repetitive processes and self-service capabilities for developers.

Ensure DevSecOps pipelines are standardized, secure, and scalable.

Promote best practices in container security and software supply chain risk management.
Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years delivering hybrid cloud solutions in federal environments.

Hands-on experience with Amazon EKS and containerized workloads.

Extensive experience with CloudBees Core, JFrog Artifactory, SonarQube, and Snyk.

Proficiency with GitHub for source control, workflow automation, and secure practices.

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders, business leaders, and application owners.
Preferred Skills & Experience

Previous experience supporting cloud services at CMS or large federal agencies.

Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Terraform, and infrastructure-as-code principles.

Knowledge of container security and software supply chain risk management.

Agile certification or experience in product-focused Agile frameworks.
