Position Summary
We’re looking for a Digital Copywriter to craft compelling, full-funnel messaging across Carhartt’s D2C digital channels and our key wholesale partner, Amazon. This role is a blend of creative writing, strategic thinking, and brand storytelling, focused on delivering best-in-class content that drives awareness, engagement, and conversion.
You’ll collaborate closely with the Marketing team and cross-functional partners to produce high-impact digital copy that reflects Carhartt’s brand voice and core values—always on-brand, on-budget, and on-time.
What You’ll Do as Digital Copywriter
Digital & eCommerce Copywriting

Write high-performing digital copy for Carhartt.com and Amazon product pages, campaigns, and landing pages

Create messaging for every stage of the customer journey—from awareness to consideration to conversion

Maintain consistent storytelling across channels and categories (e.g., durability, fit, workwear innovation)
Brand & Campaign Collaboration

Protect and uphold the Carhartt brand voice across all touchpoints

Present copy concepts and content direction to marketing partners and leadership

Work with external agencies as needed to ensure cohesive messaging and efficient campaign execution

Attend and contribute to creative and production meetings
Content Strategy & Innovation

Support strategic initiatives with branded messaging and category-specific content

Stay up to date with digital, retail, and social trends to inform creative direction

Contribute to seasonal launches, promotional campaigns, and ad-hoc creative projects
What You’ll Bring as Digital Copywriter

5+ years of copywriting experience in advertising or marketing, preferably across eCommerce, retail, and Amazon platforms

Strong portfolio showcasing integrated digital campaigns and eCommerce product storytelling

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or equivalent experience

Excellent communication and project management skills

Ability to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines without compromising quality

Knowledge of digital content standards for Amazon listings, SEO best practices, and product detail pages

Willingness to work occasional weekends and travel for production (up to 20%)
