Position Overview

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to lead our strategic shift from B2C to B2B marketing. In this role, you’ll manage integrated campaigns, CRM strategy, event marketing, and analytics while supporting a small but powerful marketing team. This remote role is open to Illinois residents only and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact at a high-growth EdTech startup with global reach.


Key Responsibilities of Digital Marketing Manager

Strategy & Campaign Execution

  • Lead the execution of digital marketing campaigns for B2B and B2C audiences

  • Develop strategic marketing plans aligned with business goals

  • Oversee paid media channels including LinkedIn, Google Ads, and Meta platforms

  • Manage email marketing, social media, and webinars in collaboration with team members

Team & Project Management

  • Collaborate with internal teams (content, creative, ops) to align marketing efforts

  • Manage project timelines using tools like Trello and facilitate biweekly sprints

  • Ensure stakeholder communication and reporting is clear and timely

CRM & Performance Optimization

  • Drive CRM campaign development and optimize HubSpot workflows

  • Monitor campaign performance and deliver weekly insights with actionable recommendations

  • Continuously refine messaging and targeting using data analysis and user feedback

Events & Brand Presence

  • Plan and promote B2B conferences, handling logistics and marketing assets

  • Support creative development of collateral, case studies, and video content


Required Qualifications for Digital Marketing Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, ideally in digital/B2B campaigns

  • Experience with marketing tools and platforms including:

    • HubSpot (strongly preferred)

    • Trello, Webflow, Canva, Google Ads, Microsoft Office Suite

  • Solid knowledge of paid advertising, email automation, CRM strategy

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, startup environment


Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in healthcare, EdTech, or higher education

  • Experience with conference marketing and vendor management

  • Ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable strategy
