Role Overview

Valet Living is hiring a Director of FP&A to oversee financial performance for Amenity Services and Corporate SG&A. This newly created role reports to the VP of FP&A and will drive financial transformation, enhance planning processes, and deliver actionable insights to guide executive decision-making. You’ll be responsible for cost management, operational efficiency, and strategic financial initiatives, with direct influence on the company’s long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead FP&A activities across assigned business segments, supporting strategy, cost control, and insights.

  • Redesign forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning in partnership with Sales, Operations, and Pricing.

  • Build tools and training that improve financial acumen across the organization.

  • Deliver executive-level reporting, dashboards, and presentations summarizing results, forecasts, risks, and opportunities.

  • Analyze variances against budget/forecast and provide actionable recommendations.

  • Partner with decision makers to drive accountability in P&L, spending, and margin management.

  • Lead cost efficiency efforts, including SG&A rationalization and COGS optimization.

  • Build and maintain financial models for scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and business cases.

  • Support strategic projects, corporate initiatives, and M&A due diligence.

  • Develop and mentor a high-performing FP&A team.

  • Present insights to executive leadership, Board of Directors, and external stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of finance/analytics experience including 4+ years in leadership.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and financial modeling.

  • Systems expertise with Oracle Essbase, Vena Solutions, or similar EPM/ERP tools; familiarity with Salesforce and Workday.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Proven success leading high-performing teams.

  • Excellent communication skills to simplify data for senior stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • High level of discretion with sensitive information.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $115,600 – $160,000 + 15% annual bonus target
