About the Position

The Director of Classroom Support provides strategic leadership to ensure excellence in the quality and effectiveness of our Field Supervisors and Mentor Support operations. This role is ideal for a seasoned educational leader who thrives in team-building, achieving measurable outcomes, and cultivating strong school and district partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership

  • Hire, train, and supervise classroom support staff and field supervisors

  • Oversee department workflow and operations

  • Conduct performance evaluations and manage improvement plans

  • Lead both in-office and field-based teams

Operational Management

  • Develop and implement curriculum and training plans aligned with program goals

  • Manage departmental budget, resources, and staffing

  • Establish and track performance metrics for staff and supervisors

  • Create and execute training and quality review programs for new and existing employees

Collaboration & Compliance

  • Engage with districts, interns, and stakeholders to strengthen partnerships

  • Ensure compliance with certification standards and company policies

  • Recommend improvements in technology, processes, and policies

  • Work cross-functionally to support organizational change and outcomes

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid Educator Certificate (required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s/Doctorate strongly preferred)

  • 15+ years of teaching/education experience

  • 10+ years of leadership experience managing educators/staff (administrative background a plus)

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Proven leadership in coaching, mentoring, and performance management

  • Ability to build relationships and deliver measurable results
