About the Role:
Jackson Physician Search is seeking a dynamic Director of Physician Recruiting to lead a small team in a high-impact, player-coach role. You’ll combine hands-on recruiting with team leadership, driving performance, mentoring recruiters, and partnering with clients to solve critical provider staffing needs. This role blends the fast pace of sales with the rewarding impact of healthcare recruitment.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and support a team of recruiters to meet individual and team goals

Manage active recruitment for your own clients and searches

Build strong relationships with healthcare clients and physician candidates

Resolve escalated issues, coach for improvement, and oversee team performance

Craft compelling job ads and screen candidates with attention to detail

Maintain accurate data in internal CRM (Salesforce)

Ensure credentialing and availability of physician candidates

Travel for on-site client visits (up to 30% annually)
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree preferred
-
5+ years of recruiting experience (physician recruiting and staffing agency background strongly preferred)

3+ years in physician recruitment required

1+ years of leadership experience preferred

Proficiency in Salesforce and physician job boards a plus

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Professional presence and ability to interact with healthcare executives
