Central Market is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Dishwasher/Production Representative to join our team at the Preston Royal location. This position supports various departments with essential back-of-house tasks including dishwashing, product prep, sanitation, and customer support when needed.

Key Responsibilities of Dishwasher /Production Representative

• Clean and maintain dishwashing stations, back-of-house areas, and production equipment

• Assist with mixing, shaping, baking, wrapping, and stocking fresh products as needed

• Ensure sanitation and cleanliness in prep, walk-in, freezer, and storage areas

• Read and execute daily production lists accurately and efficiently

• Monitor product quality control before items reach the sales floor

• Provide exceptional customer service, including answering questions and taking orders by phone

• Stock and rotate products to ensure freshness and reduce shrink

• Receive, track, and organize incoming product and supply orders

• Prepare customer samples or demo items as needed

• Use suggestive selling techniques to enhance customer purchases

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen or food production environment preferred

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Able to remain calm and focused in fast-paced or stressful situations

• Capable of lifting at least 50 lbs, and performing repetitive bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Knowledge of baking products and food safety is a plus
