What You Need to Know About This Position:

This position is part of a labor union.

Typical schedule (subject to change based on customer demand): Monday to Friday, starting at 4:00 AM, working 8 to 12-hour shifts (36 to 50 hours per week).

Responsibilities:
-
Perform routine safety checks on equipment (tractor, trailer, pallet jack, etc.) to ensure safe operation.

Complete daily field service tasks, including preparing receipts, truck logs, and maintenance records.

Follow the schedule set by the Route Manager or Dispatch.
Job Requirements:

Must have a CDL-Class A license and at least 2 years of safe driving experience.
-
Direct Store Delivery (DSD) experience is preferred.
-
Successful completion of a drug test, MVR check, and background check is required.
-
FMCSA’s Clearinghouse Registration is required (link provided to get started).
What You’ll Need as a CDL Driver:
-
A customer-oriented attitude and ability to provide excellent service to key customers.

Minimum of one year of safe driving experience with no serious driving violations (DOT requirement to check the last 10 years).

Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, as well as local, state, and federal guidelines.

Basic understanding of temperature-controlled food transportation.

Proficiency in using smartphones, electronic logging devices (ELDs), and scanners to log deliveries and driving times.
