Responsibilities

Adhere to all safety regulations at all times.
Safely deliver and unload products according to customer specifications at each location.
Maintain accurate daily and weekly logs and reports as required by state, federal agencies, and company policies.
Interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks and/or forklifts.

Knowledge & Skills

Basic mathematical skills: Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to perform operations using units of American money, weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Strong written communication skills to complete routine reports and correspondence.
Problem-solving ability involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:
- Must possess a Class “A” CDL with at least 18 months of over-the-road driving experience.
- Must have a Class A CDL that allows driving both manual and automatic trucks (automatic-only restrictions are not acceptable).
- Clear driving record.
- Must pass background check, drug screening, and DOT physical.
- Warehouse experience with refrigerated freight is a plus.

Physical Requirements

Regularly required to sit and engage in verbal communication.
Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, climb, balance, and perform tasks requiring tactile senses.
Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
