Responsibilities:

Operate a vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) exceeding 26,000 lbs safely and efficiently.

Pick up and deliver loads with accuracy and timeliness, verifying all shipments.

Complete all required paperwork accurately.
-
Safely load and unload a variety of cargo.
-
Drive in diverse conditions, including heavy traffic and adverse weather.

Conduct pre-shift vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance when necessary.

Manage time effectively by adhering to schedules and taking required rest periods.

Read maps and GPS systems to navigate efficiently.

Provide courteous, professional customer service at all client locations.

Lift and move items weighing up to 70 lbs as needed.

Drive for extended periods while maintaining safety and focus.

Be willing to drive rotating team routes as assigned.

Remain self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented.

Maintain strong knowledge of traffic laws, roadways, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum of 5 years of CDL driving experience.
-
Successful completion of a motor vehicle driving record check.

Ability to follow detailed instructions and communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, and speaking).

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
-
Flexibility to work specialty runs, early mornings, or late starts as needed.
-
TB test required.

This position may be offered at different levels depending on a candidate’s combination of education and experience, with a salary range adjusted accordingly.
