Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Driving and Deliveries

Safely and promptly delivers goods to job sites and customer locations.

Ensures all required documentation for deliveries is complete and accurate, including delivery tickets, bills of lading, hazardous materials paperwork, time logs, route sheets, and all other DOT and company-required documents.

Secures customer signatures at each delivery point.

Enters secured or closed facilities as needed to unload merchandise.

Loads and unloads packages using proper safety and efficiency techniques.

Maintains a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with customers and coworkers.

Maintains a clean driving record and complies with all traffic laws.

Assists with various warehouse duties as directed by management during downtime.
Vehicle Maintenance

Conducts daily pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety and operational readiness.

Reports vehicle maintenance needs promptly to management, including tire conditions, oil and filter changes, and other routine upkeep.
Position Knowledge and Training

Keeps up-to-date knowledge of delivery routes and areas.

Participates in all required meetings, training sessions, and quarterly driver safety meetings.

Maintains awareness of current state and federal transportation regulations.
Required Certifications and Abilities

Valid Class A or B driver’s license (current).

Current Hazmat certification.
-
Current medical card.
-
Certified to operate a hi-low (forklift).

Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle.

Capable of lifting at least 50 lbs.

Manual dexterity to handle, position, and move materials safely and effectively.

Compensation
