Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Safely drive and operate a commercial vehicle with a patented lift system to load and unload storage containers at customer locations in compliance with all safety protocols.

Conduct and document thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Accept and manage additional delivery requests to support operational needs.

Utilize company-provided handheld devices for delivery verification, routing, and navigation.

Operate a forklift and overhead crane to manage container movement as needed.

Clean and inspect containers to ensure they are in excellent condition prior to delivery.

Handle rental paperwork and payment coordination directly with customers.

Communicate customer concerns and delivery updates to the Driver Lead or Market Manager; prepare detailed driver notes when necessary.

Perform minor repairs and maintenance on containers and lift systems in the field and at storage centers.

Provide support for storage center operations when required.

Maintain the cleanliness of the truck cab, both inside and out, to uphold company standards.

Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
-
Reports directly to management, typically the Market Manager or Territory Manager.

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities over other employees.
Compensation and Benefits

Hourly Rate: $31.00 per hour

Job Qualifications – Education and Experience
-
High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Valid CDL Class A license with no air brake restrictions
-
Must hold a valid driver’s license and meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards
-
Must be at least 21 years of age (insurance requirement)
-
Possession of a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate or ability to obtain one-year DOT certification
-
Experience with handheld electronic devices and routing software preferred

Strong basic math skills
-
Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Must be able to attend a mandatory two-week New Hire Driver Training Program
