As a Driver II, your advanced driving skills and customer service focus will shine as you handle specialized deliveries across apartment complexes and buildings in your local market. You’ll work closely with branch leadership to execute delivery schedules, build relationships with our Pro customers, and ensure each delivery is completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

Your role is vital in supporting local contractors, businesses, and building professionals—making sure they receive the materials they need to get the job done.

What You’ll Do

  • Safely operate company box trucks (GVW 14,500–26,000 lbs.) while complying with DOT and CDL regulations (if applicable).

  • Conduct thorough daily inspections and maintain vehicle condition.

  • Navigate complex apartment buildings and urban delivery routes with precision.

  • Match orders against invoices, verify delivery details, and capture confirmations.

  • Unload merchandise inside multi-unit buildings as directed by the customer.

  • Work closely with the sales team to deliver outstanding on-site customer support.

  • Build strong customer relationships with Lowe’s Pro clients.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 1–2 years of experience operating box trucks or similar delivery vehicles.

  • Valid driver’s license (DL), in good standing and in-state.

  • Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon hire.

  • Physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and operating power equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using forklifts, order pickers, or other power equipment.

  • Previous experience with customer service delivery in retail or logistics.

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments.

  • Strong spatial reasoning and attention to detail.
