Job Summary

Patheous Health is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Driver Technician to join our mobile diagnostic team. You will be responsible for transporting a 3-person clinical team—including a licensed physician and speech-language pathologist—to skilled nursing facilities and hospitals for swallowing diagnostic studies. This role combines transportation, technical assistance, and patient-facing support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport the team in a company van to scheduled medical facilities.

  • Set up, operate, and break down diagnostic equipment for swallowing studies.

  • Prepare and manage supplies used during assessments (including mixing food/liquid).

  • Document study results by listening to and transcribing dictated notes into a provided grid.

  • Perform light cleaning and maintenance of company vehicles and diagnostic equipment.

  • Interact with patients and facility staff in a courteous and professional manner.

  • Utilize GPS for efficient and timely navigation.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise written instructions.

  • Able to wear a 15lb x-ray vest and thyroid shield during diagnostic studies (10–15 minutes at a time).

  • Good physical condition – must be able to push heavy diagnostic equipment.

  • Excellent vision, hearing, and verbal communication skills.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel (preferred).

  • Professional appearance and conduct.

  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
