Overview
We are currently hiring an experienced Dry Liner Fixer to join our professional construction team. This is a hands-on role involving the installation of dry lining systems such as plasterboard partitions, wall linings, suspended ceilings, and metal stud work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dry lining techniques and a solid understanding of construction site operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Measure, mark, and prepare surfaces for dry lining installation

Install and fix metal stud partitions, plasterboard wall linings, and suspended ceilings
-
Shape and cut plasterboard around openings including doors, windows, and electrical outlets
-
Apply insulation and vapour barriers where required
-
Secure boards using appropriate fixings such as screws or adhesives
-
Tape and finish plasterboard joints
-
Interpret and work from technical drawings, plans, and verbal instructions

Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution

Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site

Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Essential Skills and Experience

Minimum 3 years’ experience in:

Dry lining
-
Dot & Dab techniques
-
Plasterboarding
-
Metal stud work (walls and ceilings)

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

Physically fit and comfortable working in confined or elevated spaces

Knowledge of building materials, tools, and techniques related to dry lining
Working Conditions

Work environments may be indoor or outdoor, sometimes dusty or confined

Requires use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Tasks may include lifting heavy materials and working at heights
