Early Intervention Registered Nurse

As an Early Intervention Registered Nurse, you will coordinate treatment and deliver services for assigned clients as an integral member of a multidisciplinary Early Childhood Services team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outreach services to children and families.

  • Collaborate with team members to develop individualized plans and coordinate multidisciplinary services for clients.

  • Maintain accurate and thorough client records, including Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), client assessments, progress documentation, and required contacts with families and collateral sources.

  • Ensure timely and accurate billing documentation per company schedules.

  • Follow professional standards and guidelines relevant to your discipline.

  • Keep supervisors informed on client progress.

  • Meet direct service requirements based on your employment status (part-time/full-time).

  • Comply with clinical guidance from administration.

  • Maintain confidentiality of all clinical information.

  • Adhere to billing and documentation standards according to service requirements.

  • Conduct visits in natural environments with clients and relevant collateral contacts, tailored to the needs of each child and family.

  • Develop group curricula when applicable.

  • Participate in team meetings, supervision sessions, and ongoing training.

  • Contribute to program development and team goal achievement.

  • Obtain and maintain required certifications (e.g., DEEC, EI certifications) and licensure as applicable.

  • Maintain regular communication with sites and clients through daily voicemail and email checks.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited RN program.

  • Current Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.

  • Strong assessment skills with critical thinking ability in clinical settings.

  • Effective communication skills with team members, healthcare professionals, clients, and families.

  • Dependable, responsible, and compassionate approach to care.

  • Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of work.
