Education Co-ordinator – Global Health & Capacity Building (Remote, UK Based)

Remote (UK-based candidates preferred, with occasional London travel)

World Obesity is looking for a motivated Education Co-ordinator to join our growing education and capacity-building team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about global health, education, and professional development. As an Education Co-ordinator, you’ll help deliver essential educational projects designed to support healthcare professionals and organisations tackling obesity worldwide.

You’ll play a vital role in organising resources, managing projects, supporting online and in-person events, and collaborating with experts across the globe. This position offers flexible, remote working with the option to attend occasional London-based meetings and events.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Education Co-ordinator, your duties will include:

  • Coordinating global education and training initiatives

  • Supporting the delivery of capacity-building programmes for member organisations

  • Managing project plans, timelines, and stakeholder communications

  • Assisting with the creation and distribution of educational resources

  • Providing administrative support for webinars, workshops, and virtual events

  • Maintaining programme documentation and progress reports

  • Liaising with internal teams and external partners

About You:

To succeed as an Education Co-ordinator, you’ll need:

  • Strong project management, organisation, and communication skills

  • A keen interest in education, global health, or public health initiatives

  • Previous experience in administration, coordination, or education-related roles (desirable)

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

  • A collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving

  • UK residency (with easy access to London preferred but not required)

Contract Details:

  • Type: Full-time, 6-month fixed term (possible extension)

  • Location: Remote, UK-based (occasional London travel may be required)

  • Salary: Competitive, based on experience
