We are looking for a passionate Education Coordinator to join our Bromsgrove-based Integrated Services Programme (ISP). This part-time, term-time-only role is ideal for an experienced Education Coordinator who thrives in supporting children with complex needs, particularly within the foster care system. You’ll guide foster parents, schools, and professionals across the South region, ensuring children receive the educational support they deserve.
Education Coordinator Opportunity at ISP Bromsgrove
We are seeking a qualified Education Coordinator who understands the challenges faced by children in care and can creatively advocate for their educational needs. Working 14 hours per week during term time, you’ll play a vital role in shaping academic journeys, offering expert advice, and monitoring progress across multiple educational settings.
You’ll collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals including social workers, therapists, and fostering advisors to ensure every child’s educational goals are met. Experience in special educational needs (SEN), looked-after children (LAC), and all Key Stages is highly desirable.
Responsibilities of the Education Coordinator Role
The successful Education Coordinator will be responsible for:

Advising on education provisions for children within the centre

Monitoring academic progress and supporting education-related queries

Developing and updating education policies and procedures

Attending multidisciplinary meetings and contributing to child-focused plans

Ensuring effective communication between children, foster parents, schools, and local authorities

Managing educational case records with accuracy and care

Promoting strong partnerships with local and virtual schools and professionals
