What You’ll Do as an Education Welfare Officer EWO

• Leading targeted interventions to support pupils facing barriers to learning

• Presenting cases at the Borough Attendance Panel and supporting legal proceedings where necessary

• Ensuring the safeguarding of vulnerable children

• Collaborating with professionals across services to improve outcomes
