We are looking for a dedicated Education Worker to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Derby. Cygnet Hospital Derby offers low secure and mental health rehabilitation care based on the Recovery Model, providing services for both male and female patients. Your Key Responsibilities as an Education Worker
As an Education Worker, your day-to-day tasks will include:

Supporting the Occupational Therapy team and contributing to high-quality care for patients.

Liaising with external agencies and the local community when appropriate.

Providing guidance and mentoring to adults, helping them reintegrate post-discharge.

Assisting with the development of reintegration plans for patients.

Offering moral support and acting as a positive role model for adults in care.
Qualifications and Skills Required for Education Worker Role
To be successful as an Education Worker at Cygnet, you should:

Have experience working with service users in EUPD, low secure, or high dependency environments.

Possess knowledge of health and safety, safeguarding, and the education system.

Be an excellent communicator and team player.

Hold 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths at grade C or above.
