Job Overview

Platform Property Care, part of Platform Housing Group, is seeking a Work Planner / Scheduler to join our busy and motivated planning team. In this key role, you will coordinate the scheduling of a multi-skilled workforce to deliver planned and responsive repairs across our housing stock.

This 12-month fixed-term contract is perfect for someone with proven experience in property maintenance scheduling who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule appointments for reactive and planned maintenance work.

  • Allocate jobs to a multi-trade workforce using DRS or similar workforce management software.

  • Monitor progress, adjust schedules in real-time, and ensure efficient service delivery.

  • Communicate with engineers, tenants, and internal teams to coordinate repair works.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through right-first-time service delivery.

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience as a Work Planner, Scheduler, or Administrator within housing repairs, construction, or facilities maintenance.

  • Proficient with DRS or equivalent scheduling software.

  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Outlook and Word.

  • Strong organisational abilities with the capability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Confident communicator, calm under pressure, with the ability to work independently.

Desirable Qualities

  • Background in a social housing or property services environment.

  • Understanding of property maintenance workflows and trades operations.

  • Customer-focused mindset with a proactive problem-solving approach.
