Job Overview
Platform Property Care, part of Platform Housing Group, is seeking a Work Planner / Scheduler to join our busy and motivated planning team. In this key role, you will coordinate the scheduling of a multi-skilled workforce to deliver planned and responsive repairs across our housing stock.
This 12-month fixed-term contract is perfect for someone with proven experience in property maintenance scheduling who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and schedule appointments for reactive and planned maintenance work.

Allocate jobs to a multi-trade workforce using DRS or similar workforce management software.

Monitor progress, adjust schedules in real-time, and ensure efficient service delivery.

Communicate with engineers, tenants, and internal teams to coordinate repair works.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through right-first-time service delivery.

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
Essential Skills & Experience

Experience as a Work Planner, Scheduler, or Administrator within housing repairs, construction, or facilities maintenance.

Proficient with DRS or equivalent scheduling software.

Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Outlook and Word.

Strong organisational abilities with the capability to manage multiple priorities.

Confident communicator, calm under pressure, with the ability to work independently.
Desirable Qualities

Background in a social housing or property services environment.

Understanding of property maintenance workflows and trades operations.

Customer-focused mindset with a proactive problem-solving approach.
