Job Description

Hustyn Hotel is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our maintenance team. Based at our beautiful resort in the heart of Cornwall, this hands-on role will involve the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across the site.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures
Perform routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment
Troubleshoot electrical issues and carry out timely repairs
Ensure all work complies with current electrical safety standards and regulations
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Communicate effectively with hotel management and other maintenance staff

Requirements

Proven experience as a qualified Electrician
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, fault diagnosis, and repairs
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Understanding of UK electrical codes and health & safety compliance
Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition preferred)
