We are seeking an experienced Electrician to support installation, repair, and maintenance of equipment, instruments, and controls at oil and gas production facilities. This role requires strong technical skills, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


Responsibilities

  • Install and manage electric power systems at production sites

  • Maintain and repair electrical and pneumatic devices, dump valves, liquid level sensors, and measurement equipment

  • Educate personnel on electrical safety, measurements, and responsibilities

  • Identify repair needs and generate work orders for electrical issues

  • Ensure compliance with all electrical codes, standards, and EHS protocols

  • Provide data for electrical equipment to MDM systems

  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs without direct supervision

  • Maintain close coordination with Foreman and EHS for compliance

  • Secure and maintain company-issued equipment, including vehicles and test devices

  • Be available for 24-hour call rotation for emergency repairs

  • Exercise authority to stop unsafe work activities

  • Act as field-wide point of contact during emergencies or significant events


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • State Journeyman Electrician License required

  • Proven electrician experience (oil & gas industry preferred)

  • Knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatic devices, instrumentation, and controls

  • Familiarity with PLCs, automation, artificial lift, and cathodic protection (preferred)

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Computer literacy and ability to manage reports/data

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Leadership, coaching, and influencing skills

  • Safe work habits and compliance with EHS standards

  • Must meet requirements to operate company vehicles
