About the Role

Horton Emergency Vehicles, part of REV Group (NYSE: REVG), is seeking an experienced Automotive Electrical Assembler to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, wiring, assembling, and troubleshooting electrical systems on custom-built ambulances designed for first responders. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, assemble, and troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC systems.

  • Assemble harnesses, cables, switch panels, and circuit boards.

  • Read and interpret diagrams, drawings, and work orders.

  • Inspect and test wiring installations for compliance.

  • Repair electrical defects and report recurring quality issues.

  • Safely operate hand tools, air tools, and measuring devices.

  • Support production goals across different facility areas.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of manufacturing or automotive electrical assembly experience.

  • Strong knowledge of automotive electronics and electrical systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

  • Understanding of voltage, current, and resistance.

  • Proficiency with volt meters, test lights, and basic math.

  • Advanced automotive mechanical knowledge preferred.

Physical Demands

  • Regularly lift and move up to 40 lbs.

  • Stand for 8+ hours per shift.

  • Work in squatting, kneeling, or overhead positions.

  • Perform repetitive motions (e.g., hand crimping).

  • Tolerate hot, noisy, and dusty conditions.

Work Environment

  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, fumes, and airborne particles.

  • Occasional exposure to electrical shock risks and chemicals.

  • Elevated noise level — safety equipment required.
