About the Role
Horton Emergency Vehicles, part of REV Group (NYSE: REVG), is seeking an experienced Automotive Electrical Assembler to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, wiring, assembling, and troubleshooting electrical systems on custom-built ambulances designed for first responders. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Install, assemble, and troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC systems.

Assemble harnesses, cables, switch panels, and circuit boards.

Read and interpret diagrams, drawings, and work orders.

Inspect and test wiring installations for compliance.

Repair electrical defects and report recurring quality issues.

Safely operate hand tools, air tools, and measuring devices.

Support production goals across different facility areas.
Requirements

2–5 years of manufacturing or automotive electrical assembly experience.

Strong knowledge of automotive electronics and electrical systems.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Understanding of voltage, current, and resistance.

Proficiency with volt meters, test lights, and basic math.

Advanced automotive mechanical knowledge preferred.
Physical Demands

Regularly lift and move up to 40 lbs.

Stand for 8+ hours per shift.

Work in squatting, kneeling, or overhead positions.

Perform repetitive motions (e.g., hand crimping).

Tolerate hot, noisy, and dusty conditions.
Work Environment

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, fumes, and airborne particles.

Occasional exposure to electrical shock risks and chemicals.

Elevated noise level — safety equipment required.
