Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging instruction in a virtual environment tailored to IEP goals.

Develop compliant IEPs, progress reports, and related documentation.

Facilitate and lead IEP meetings with families and support staff.

Ensure appropriate accommodations, modifications, and use of assistive technologies.

Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusion and student success.
-
Collect and analyze data to track progress and adjust instruction as needed.
-
Communicate regularly with parents, learning coaches, and students.
-
Maintain accurate records, gradebooks, and student performance data.
-
Support families with curriculum guidance and technical troubleshooting.
-
Prepare students for standardized assessments.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree.
-
Active state teaching license.
-
New Mexico Elementary Special Education Teaching Certification (or proof of application within 7 days of hire; must obtain within 90 days).

Ability to pass a background check.
Other Required Skills:

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Adaptability and openness to coaching.
Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience teaching in-person or online.
-
Familiarity with online learning platforms.

Experience working with the relevant age group.

Skills supporting children and families in using technology.
Compensation & Benefits
-
Salary: $55,000–$75,000 (based on education, experience, and market conditions).
