Key Responsibilities of the Email Account Manager
Client & Project Management
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients, building strong, long-term relationships.
- Coordinate project timelines, task assignments, and execution workflows using ClickUp.
- Develop customized retention marketing strategies aligned with client goals.
Email Marketing & Strategy Execution
- Oversee the profitable growth of retention channels, including Klaviyo pop-ups, flows, and segmentation.
- Manage and optimize subscriptions, memberships, and third-party Shopify integrations.
- Collaborate with copywriters and technical teams to execute high-impact email campaigns.
Performance Analytics & Optimization
- Monitor campaign performance, ensuring accuracy in reporting and analytics.
- Utilize tools like Lifetimely, Peel, Northbeam, and Triplewhale for data-driven decisions.
- Continuously test and refine strategies to maximize email marketing ROI.
What We’re Looking for in an Email Account Manager
- 3+ years of account management experience in an email marketing agency.
- Proven track record managing e-commerce accounts generating $100K+ in monthly revenue.
- Expertise in Klaviyo, Shopify, and retention marketing strategies.
- Strong project management skills, with experience using ClickUp or similar tools.
- Basic copywriting skills with keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
