Job Description
Our Email & SMS Strategist is responsible for strategizing, executing, and optimizing email and SMS marketing campaigns to enhance customer engagement, retention, and revenue growth. This role requires a deep understanding of audience segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and data-driven decision-making. You will manage and expand our email and SMS channels, ensuring campaigns are high-performing and aligned with overall marketing goals. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Klaviyo or similar platforms, an analytical mindset, and a passion for delivering personalized, impactful messaging.
Responsibilities

Develop and execute email and SMS marketing strategies to drive sales and engagement

Manage and maintain customer data within Klaviyo, ensuring accurate segmentation, list hygiene, and CRM best practices

Implement strategies to grow subscriber lists while maintaining compliance and quality

Analyze campaign performance (open rates, CTRs, conversions, revenue impact) and provide actionable reporting

Optimize templates for deliverability, engagement, and conversions using A/B testing and personalization

Collaborate with content, design, and product teams for consistent messaging and brand voice
-
Create automated workflows and behavioral-based sequences to enhance retention

Stay current on ESP (Klaviyo) updates, trends, and best practices
-
Develop and document best practices for email and SMS execution across the team

Participate in training on pond products to ensure full understanding of the TPG family of brands
Skill Set
-
4+ years of email and SMS marketing experience with focus on strategy, automation, and analytics

D2C eCommerce brand experience required

Expert in Klaviyo (flows, segmentation, reporting, integrations) or similar ESPs
-
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and optimize campaigns
-
Experience with A/B testing, deliverability, and compliance for email/SMS
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail

Basic HTML/CSS for email formatting is a plus

Highly technical yet strategically focused; able to add value beyond day-to-day execution
Availability

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Occasional evenings and Saturdays for time-sensitive projects
Remote Position
