About the Role
Penn Foster Group is seeking a motivated Email/SMS Marketing Coordinator to support the development and execution of highly targeted campaigns that drive acquisition and engagement. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams—including Brand, Product, and Technology—to execute email and SMS campaigns across the lead lifecycle. Success in this role is defined by your ability to deliver timely, high-quality campaigns, contribute creative ideas, and provide actionable insights through performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities

Build, launch, and optimize email and SMS campaigns using enterprise ESPs (Oracle Responsys, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Adobe Campaign, etc.).

Create targeted segments, conduct A/B testing, and ensure campaign alignment with business goals.

Perform pre-launch QA to validate email logic, design, copy, and rendering across devices and clients.

Implement robust testing strategies focusing on segmentation, personalization, and messaging.

Compile performance reports and provide actionable insights for campaign improvement.

Manage campaign calendars, including bi-weekly offers and seasonal promotions, ensuring timely execution.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and alignment on marketing initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Minimum 1 year of professional experience in email marketing.

Hands-on experience with enterprise-level ESPs such as Oracle Responsys, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, IBM Silverpop, HubSpot, or Adobe Campaign.

Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for formatting and troubleshooting email templates.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance shifting priorities and deadlines.

Detail-oriented, with a focus on QA and ensuring campaign accuracy.

Results-driven mindset with ownership over deliverables and outcomes.
