Sylvane.com, a leading internet retail company specializing in air quality products, is seeking an Email Marketing Specialist to manage our Klaviyo email program. Additionally, the role will include managing our social media accounts (20% of workload).

The Email Marketing Specialist is an integral part of the Marketing team, reporting directly to the Marketing Director. In addition, they will work closely with the Merchandising team, continuously helping to generate sales, drive promotions, and build Sylvane’s brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating promotional email campaigns capitalizing on sales events, holiday pushes, seasonal changes, weather events, and category or brand pushes, etc.
  • Maintaining workflows including Welcome Series, Abandoned Cart, and Reminder campaigns, etc.
  • Driving year-over-year growth of purchases and revenue through our email program.
  • Increasing our email subscriber base.
  • Creating captivating emails that are optimized for engagement and conversion using data-driven decisions and A/B testing.
  • Managing our social platforms–primarily Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Regularly create engaging, relevant posts that will build the Sylvane brand.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • At least 1 year of email marketing experience. Klaviyo familiarity is ideal.
  • At least 1 year managing social media initiatives for a business.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Analytical experience with GA4 is preferred.
  • E-commerce experience is ideal.
  • Creative–can figure out how to make boring air quality products seem interesting; a problem solver.
  • Proactive–can expand the breadth of our campaigns to drive niche sales.
  • Self-motivated, independent worker who is also a collaborative team player.
