The Role
The Senior Manager, Employee Relations will lead employee relations initiatives to foster a positive work environment, resolve conflicts, and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. This role involves conducting investigations, guiding managers, and partnering with HRBPs, legal counsel, compliance teams, and business leadership to promote a culture of excellence. Initially an individual contributor role, there is potential to grow into a people manager position.

Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations Strategy

Provide strategic guidance, coaching, and support to all levels of the organization

Partner with HR Business Partners and leadership to manage employee relations matters
-
Work with legal teams to mitigate risks and manage employment-related litigation strategies
Investigations & Conflict Resolution
-
Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, maintaining confidentiality
-
Lead resolution of conflicts, grievances, and complaints fairly and consistently
-
Triage employee relations cases and propose appropriate solutions
-
Assist in drafting position statements and recommend development initiatives for managers
Policy Development & Compliance

Collaborate with HR Compliance to maintain and update policies and procedures
-
Monitor industry trends to ensure policies remain current and effective
Training & Development
-
Design and deliver training programs on conflict resolution, performance management, and policies
-
Coach managers to improve leadership and employee relations capabilities
Data Analysis & Reporting

Analyze employee relations trends to inform policy and process improvements
-
Prepare quarterly reports for HRBPs and senior management with actionable recommendations

Complete special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field
-
Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience; SHRM-SCP or similar credentials preferred

Experience navigating complex employee relations issues with discretion and professionalism

Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated ability to develop and implement employee relations strategies aligned with business goals

Leadership experience in matrix organizations preferred

Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $125,000 – $145,000 per year, depending on experience, education, and skills

Eligible for discretionary bonus consideration
