Looking for a hands-on role with real impact? As an Empty Homes Cleaner (North Kirklees), you’ll help ensure that empty council-owned homes are cleaned and cleared to the highest standard, ready for new residents. Based in Dewsbury and surrounding areas, this permanent part-time role offers 30 hours per week at a competitive £12.45/hour. You’ll work within Kirklees Council’s Facilities Management service as part of the specialist cleaning team. As an Empty Homes Cleaner (North Kirklees), you’ll deliver essential cleaning services that meet Lettable standards in homes like flats, bungalows, and houses, all while working in a safe and respectful manner.
What You’ll Be Doing as an Empty Homes Cleaner (North Kirklees)
Responsibilities Include:

Carry out thorough cleaning and clearing of empty homes

Maintain health and safety for yourself and others on site

Work efficiently as part of a mobile cleaning team

Follow agreed cleaning standards and Lettable guidelines

Safely use cleaning tools, PPE, and equipment

Ensure properties are ready for incoming tenants
