Project Associate

We’re looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Project Associate to join our team, supporting commercial and residential energy efficiency incentive programs. In this role, you’ll combine project administration with direct support activities to ensure the smooth operation of our programs.

Your primary responsibility will be to accurately and promptly review and capture customer applications in our CRM system, ensuring timely rebate payments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with overall project and program management.
  • Support project execution, which includes reviewing documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to program procedures and requirements, as well as verifying application milestones.
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry.
  • Ensure exceptional customer and contractor satisfaction.
  • Participate in local marketing events and conferences in New Brunswick, NJ.
  • Cover office reception and associated duties on a rotational basis.
  • Support additional office responsibilities and projects as needed.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong time management, organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail.
  • Business acumen, including a working knowledge of financial, accounting, marketing, and operational functions to effectively support the program.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) technologies.
  • A professional presence with a desire to improve processes and exceed program savings goals.
  • A team-oriented, hands-on, highly skilled, adaptive, and client-focused mentality.
  • Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. You’ll be responsible for the maintenance and fees of your vehicle.
  • Must live in or near the New Brunswick, NJ territory.
  • Spanish speaking skills are preferred.

Experience & Education:

  • 1+ years of experience in customer programs support.
  • Experience with energy efficiency programs is a plus.
  • An Associate’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
