Position Overview
NexGen Manufacturing is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Enterprise Sales Executive to lead the acquisition and growth of high-value enterprise accounts—primarily those exceeding $1 million in annual contract value. This role is pivotal in establishing long-term, strategic relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), industrial manufacturers, and large enterprise clients. You will play a critical role in driving revenue by securing large-scale manufacturing agreements and solidifying NexGen’s position as the preferred partner for precision manufacturing and engineered solutions.
This position is laser-focused on high-revenue contracts. Mid-market and smaller-scale leads will be routed to our Key Account Manager, allowing you to concentrate exclusively on enterprise-level deals and high-impact partnerships.
Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Business Development:
Identify, engage, and close new enterprise-level clients, with a focus on manufacturing agreements worth $1M+ annually. Employ a strategic and consultative approach to land high-value, long-term contracts. -
Consultative & Technical Selling:
Conduct in-depth discovery and develop tailored proposals that address client-specific manufacturing needs. Leverage NexGen’s technical capabilities and advanced manufacturing solutions to present compelling value propositions. -
Pipeline Generation & Management:
Build and manage a robust pipeline of enterprise opportunities. Prioritize high-potential prospects and maintain accurate forecasting and CRM data to drive strategic decision-making. -
Executive Stakeholder Engagement:
Establish strong, trusted relationships with senior-level decision-makers, including CEOs, CFOs, Procurement Directors, and Heads of Engineering. Effectively navigate complex buying processes to shorten the sales cycle and secure agreements. -
Contract Negotiation & Closure:
Lead negotiations for multi-year, high-value manufacturing contracts. Ensure favorable terms and a mutually beneficial partnership that positions NexGen as the client’s long-term strategic manufacturing provider. -
Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
Coordinate closely with internal teams—including engineering, operations, and production—to align expectations, support contract execution, and ensure a seamless client experience from onboarding through delivery. -
Lead Segmentation & Distribution:
Evaluate and appropriately route sub-$800K annual opportunities to other internal sales teams. Focus personal efforts exclusively on large-scale, enterprise opportunities. -
Sales Analytics & Forecasting:
Track individual performance metrics, revenue targets, and overall pipeline health. Use insights to optimize strategy and enhance sales execution. -
Industry Representation & Brand Advocacy:
Represent NexGen Manufacturing at key industry events, trade shows, and executive networking forums. Act as a brand ambassador to elevate NexGen’s presence in the market.
Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of 4 years of success in enterprise sales, ideally within manufacturing, industrial engineering, or contract manufacturing sectors.

Demonstrated ability to close deals exceeding $1M+ in annual contract value, with experience navigating long and complex sales cycles.

Proven experience engaging with OEMs, industrial manufacturers, and enterprise clients in highly technical or custom manufacturing environments.

Strong knowledge of contract manufacturing, custom fabrication, supply chain logistics, and engineered solutions.

Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to manage complex projects and multi-stakeholder accounts with a high degree of professionalism and strategic focus.

Willingness and ability to travel frequently for client engagements, site visits, and industry events.

Flexibility to work from NexGen’s headquarters in Knightstown, IN 1–2 times per month.
Compensation & Benefits

On-Target Earnings (OTE): $180,000 annually
