Entry-Level Business Systems Analyst: Job Description

We’re looking for an Entry Level Business Systems Analyst to maintain our back-office business systems. You’ll work directly with internal customers and external application vendors, analyzing business processes and problems, evaluating system needs, and translating those needs into valuable solutions for our business partners. Your main responsibilities will be to maintain core business systems, proactively manage customer expectations, and resolve questions about business and system capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain core cloud-based business systems, specifically Bullhorn and HubSpot.
  • Receive and process internal support tickets.
  • Escalate system issues to partner organizations when necessary.
  • Support the delivery of recurring reporting requirements.
  • Communicate system outages and planned maintenance activities.
  • Build and maintain business relationships with vendor counterparts.
  • Perform quarterly application audits to ensure compliance with vendor agreements.
  • Document and maintain system procedures, user documentation, system updates, and maintenance.
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding for access to business systems.
  • Provide guidance, training, and troubleshooting to business partners as needed.
  • Create support documentation for enhancements and program changes.
  • Assist with creating training materials and procedures for new and updated processes.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Understanding of cloud-based systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide resolution.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • A degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • A self-starter with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated uncompromising integrity and code of ethics, with the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Superior analytical, problem-solving, planning, organization, and administrative skills.
  • Demonstrated project organization and management skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn organizational structure, business strategies, and processes.
