Job Description

We’re Bigmoose, a mental health charity on a mission to provide life-changing therapy and suicide prevention support. As we grow, we’re looking for a talented Event Coordinator to join us in planning and executing impactful fundraising events. This exciting role will give you the chance to bring your skills to life and help make a difference while supporting our mission.

As an Event Coordinator, you will take the lead in organizing high-profile events such as our Cardiff Half Marathon and Wing Walking experiences. You’ll also work alongside our leadership team to bring new ideas and events to life. If you’re passionate about charity work and event planning, this is the role for you!

 Key Responsibilities

Key Event Coordinator Duties

As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and executing major fundraising events throughout the year

  • Managing participant communications, setting fundraising targets, coordinating logistics, and ensuring smooth event-day operations

  • Ensuring each event reflects the charity’s energy, heart, and impact

Campaign & Project Support

You’ll also:

  • Assist in the delivery of multiple campaigns and events

  • Collaborate with the team on project ideas and bring them to life

  • Support event activations as needed

 About You

 Skills & Experience We’re Looking For

  • Experience in planning and delivering events, particularly fundraising or charity events

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • A keen eye for detail, with the ability to multitask effectively

  • Confidence engaging with a diverse range of people

  • A genuine desire to make an impact and support mental health causes
