Job Summary

The Event Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing floor operations, including setup, strike, and operation of AV technology in a hotel or venue environment. This role ensures seamless event execution, outstanding customer service, and positive client experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise union, non-union, and contract labor to ensure all event setups and strikes meet Pinnacle Live standards.

  • Communicate daily expectations across AM and PM shifts, ensuring accurate event logs.

  • Greet clients before events, provide equipment instructions, and ensure ongoing communication for event success.

  • Address client requests promptly while seeking opportunities to enhance event experiences.

  • Monitor, maintain, and secure AV inventory, reporting any lost or damaged equipment.

  • Maintain accurate client event details in the company’s billing/event order system.

  • Review invoices with clients and obtain approval/signatures.

  • Ensure company work areas remain clean, organized, and aligned with standards.

  • Stay current on technical skills and continuously improve AV expertise.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • 2–3 years of experience in the AV and/or hospitality industry.

  • 2 years of advanced AV experience in theatrical, hotel, or live event environments.

  • Proficiency with computers and event management systems.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong technical aptitude and AV knowledge.

  • Excellent planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication skills—verbal, written, and listening.

  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build positive client relationships.

  • Team-oriented with proven leadership ability.
